Fixed Restorations

Full Arch Fixed Restoration

When all teeth are missing or in such condition that they need to be replaced, a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants is the best permanent solution.  Dr. Chao or Dr. Nguyen is proud to have helped hundreds of patients end their dental problems and to restore their smiles with beautiful, custom bridgework on implants. The benefits of a fixed solution are that they:

  • Let you eat and function like having natural teeth
  • Are a solid, stable solution that will serve you for life
  • Preserve your facial appearance and prevents bone loss

Treatment:
The treatment procedure and number of visits is largely dependent on the specific conditions. But all in all, 8-10 visits should be enough to have a fixed bridge installed. Most patients report that they were much more comfortable following the procedure than they had anticipated.

A consultation with Drs. Chao or Nguyen will determine what option works best for you and will largely depend on your natural bone anatomy that we will attain with 3D imaging. Unlike many dental centers that only present you with one option, Drs. Chao or Nguyen has the expertise to create bridges out of different materials to give you a unique smile.

Here are examples of each:

After wearing a removable partial dentures for 20 odd years, this gentleman was told that his last lower front teeth finally had to go. He was referred by his friend and general dentist to me to explore options.  He was told that his bone was thin. Working closely with an oral surgeon, we were able to place zygomatic (long) implants in his maxilla and 4 implants for his mandible. Our patient now has fixed teeth that he doesn’t have to remove at night nor does he have to rush to the restroom after meals to rinse out his partials. Life is truly more enjoyable. -Actual patient treated by Drs. Our patient here was put into a denture months before seeing me. She could not tolerate having something that came out at nighttime or that moved around when she talked or ate. We discussed different options. Because she had such tremendous bone volume, we placed 8 implants in her upper jaw and finished with four 3-tooth bridges. This is the Mercedes Benz of treatments and she gets to enjoy it 24-7. -Actual patient treated by Drs. Chao or Nguyen

Our patient did not like her smile. With could feel with her tongue that the bone in the upper front part of her mouth was getting thin. Her partial denture was getting loose. We used specialized implants for thin bone that very few surgeons are able to do well. Then we created a porcelain bridge with individual crowns. Every time we see her, she is beaming her smile right back at us. Now she can’t wait to have her lower teeth done! -Actual patient treated by Drs. Chao or Nguyen
